ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday issued schedule for filling up the indirect seats for women, peasant worker, non-Muslims, youth and technocrats in Punjab.
According to the schedule, the commission fixed polling dates for indirect seats of district councils, municipal corporations and Metropolitan Corporation on September 1, for indirect seats of municipal committees on September 2 and for indirect seats of union councils on September 3.
Consolidation and declaration of results by the returning officer will be on September 4. ECP will issue the notification of returned candidates on September 8, while oath ceremony will be held on September 10.
