Islamabad: Researchers and academicians from home and abroad at the 2nd international conference held at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) pledged to serve the society through their applied and innovative research work.
During the two-day conferences, they deliberated upon the recent trends in chemistry. The conference was organised by the University’s department of Chemistry in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
The countries which were represented at the conference included USA, China, Malaysia, Germany and Poland. It was inaugurated by the Chairman HEC Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, who praised high the AIOU’s recent initiative, laying greater emphasis on the construction of knowledge and its dissemination among the end users, through research journals and conferences.
