ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali has directed the chief secretary and IG Punjab to beef up security of judges and the general public.
According to sources, Chief Secretary Captain (r) Zahid Syed and Punjab Inspector General Mushtaq Sukhera were called by Chief Justice Jamali at the Supreme Court Registry in Lahore.
He issued these directives to the chief secretary and IG Punjab while taking into consideration the kidnapping of Sindh High Court Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah’s son from Karachi.
