MIRPUR KHAS: Hindu Welfare Panchayat Pakistan (HWPP) Chairman Kishan Chand Parwani on Monday said that minorities have been given five percent quota in the government jobs but it is not implemented. Similarly, Hindu Welfare Panchayat of Mirpurkhas President Lachman Das Perwani said that the job quota was available for the minorities in organisations but it was not implemented in more than 90% of the institutions. He believes that this attitude adversely affects the outlook and self-image of the youth of Hindu communities – a substantial part of local population. He also showed his reservations over lack of representation in the provincial and national assemblies. “We demand a right to dual vote to choose representatives.
